We stopped at Robert's Frosty for a late dinner on our way into Yosemite. Not only was Robert welcoming but the food hit the spot and the old-time diner atmosphere was just what we needed on our long road trip. We will make this a regular stop on our way into Yosemite from now on :) Thank you Robert!

Stopped by for dinner after driving all day and checking into our AirBnb. Saw decent reviews and was starving. Sat down after ordering a grilled cheese, onion rings, and a Coke float (drool). My husband ordered a wet burrito and milkshake. The inside was comfy and decorated similarly to what you would expect from a vintage diner. There is also outdoor seating available. While we were waiting for our food (not very long), we witnessed one of the employees deal expertly with an irate customer who used some very choice language over a simple misunderstanding over toppings vs flavors. He handled it like a pro. The food was great - nice sized portions too. I enjoyed my Coke float so much that I returned two days later for another one. Nothing beats a vanilla soft-serve Coke float.

The Mountain Burger is epic! The shakes and cones are amazing also! The prices are on point for the amount and quality that you get. I live in Oakhurst and we stop here at least twice a week for something!

Popping in again to say this place is still fantastic, consistent and the staff is friendly. Robert's Frosty is my summer lunch break food of choice. Inside has a nice 50s diner feel, while the outside has lovely wood benches that are shaded by a large overhang that doesn't block the views of the quaint little town of Coarsegold. If the picture of the meal looks a little low on fries at because by the time I remembered to take it, I already scarfed down half of them. If I could give Robert's Frosty 10 stars, I would. Love you guys

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We stopped here because the kids wanted typical kid food, burgers, nuggets and fries but didn't want McDonald's. The inside is small & has all the typical findings of 50s style burger spot. Lots of Coca Cola stuff, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe & Lucille ball photos all over the walls. The tv plays older movies on dvd. Service was fast and good. We got a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets & fries for the kids. They ate it all. I got the crispy chicken wrap it was huge and delicious. The potatoe salad was good for being on the plain side but still tasty. Also got the Philly cheesesteak & it was so good. Meat tasted good, peppers and onions weren't all soggy or to crunchy. Bread was so soft and a little greasy but in the best way possible. All of this was about $44 This will be a regular stop after the lake now.
